Umbrella

 

UMBRELLA captivates with its multi-functionality and modern design and can be integrated into indefinite realities.

 

UMBRELLA can be plugged into any socket and the integrated rechargeable batteries will allow for maximum flexibility. A separate and water resistant base permits the user to enjoy the lamp completely detached from any electrical source. The light is generated by low voltage MR-16 LED’s and can be dimmed in two stages. Various color filters supplement the playful characteristics of the lamp.

The last Edison

 

"The last Edison" Appriciation of a bygone age.


After the EU banished the Edison lightbulbs from the market, I found a local manufacturer that would not bend to the EU. For this manufacturer I created a whole series of light fixtures, which would center about the lightbulbe itself.

Eddy


This lamp is made of porcelain and was sold in a limited edition of 20 pieces. Size. 45 cm.


"Eddy" is a tribute to the lightbulb of Thomas Alva Edison.

Mobile-Home-Pod


Bioresin, bamboo-fiber, mobile structure, CO2 positive.

 

This mobile pod would be transportable around the world and serve as a luxury caravan. It's construction materials are 100% biodegradable and the CO2 consumption would actually be negative.

Kate's Board Shop

 

"Kate's Board Shop" - unating dog-town and ghost-town.

 

Together with Kate Willis and Roger Saiki, we designed and build this shop and meeting-place for local skaters and street-artist.


Each month we organized a street-art show with bands and local artists. These events were sponsored by "Absolut Vodka" and "MTV Mexico"

Kateboards LLC.

 

"Kateboards" - carbon skateboards.

 

Together with Roger Saiki I branded the first womens skateboard company.

 

We designed and built all the nescessary production machines and built the boards with; carbon-fiberglass, poplar-wood and epoxy-resin.

The boards varied from 70- to 120 cm.
